How many have you heard of the term PK, or Preacher's Kid? Well, you're looking at an MLM or NM Kid. I grew up despising my father because he would jump from one opportunity to the next, trying desperately to grasp the brass ring. I believe it largely contributed to the financial ruin of my family. When I was a child we would go from house to house and meeting to meeting to hear the latest news, to show the latest product. When my father was working at the height of the real estate market in the 80's we were for the first time living high on the hog. After so many BK's later, never settling down in any one place due to failed economic practices, I steadily developed a distaste of anything that had to do with network marketing.
Fast forward 20-30 years and here I am promoting a business just like my father did before me. What's different? The philosophy's changed, but the goal is the same. At least I think so. Through all of our trials and tribulations, I have come to see my father as a man always trying to reach for the brass ring and never attaining it. Now in his mid 70's he is overworked and with little hope of attaining his goal of financial freedom.
I'm a father of three children, after so many years in the work force, my wife lost her job of over 18 years in the financial industry. She made up more than half of our total annual gross income. In danger of losing our home, and getting seriously behind in our bills, we began to start looking for part time work. With the recent down turn in the economy, entire companies were folding, laying people off by the hundreds. Having 2 houses in foreclosure and losing one to our realtor, we suddenly found ourselves in a dire situation.
We were, and at the time this is written still seriously upside down in our income to debt ratio, but thank God we are beginning to see an upturn and slowly coming out of the mess we dug ourselves into.
With the way companies have been finding ways to remain in business, serious budget cuts had to occur to keep businesses afloat. Some laid off workers, some cut programs or benefits packages, while others just didn't pay bonuses and placed a freeze on raises and other incentives.
Within the past fifteen years I have been exposed to several of these "opportunities" first hand and only one has really given me the drive and motivated interest to go full on with the marketing of this business. You can find it under the favorite links heading on the right hand side of this page.
Because I am in the media business and on the Internet every waking hour of the day it seems, this made the most sense to pursue. Here's the other shoe that dropped for me, no money upfront and after the first week you pay ten to eleven dollars a month - depending on if you wish to pick up domain privacy, it is an add-on that prevents your personal information from displaying in the public whois. (look it up on google, ha-ha)
I've heard the argument, well, I can get a website for a lot less per year as opposed to what I end up paying per year here, besides with "X" I get a lot more features, more email addresses, more space, more ... you get the picture.
Your not paying for a website, or having a dns registered under your name, you are purchasing a business that has the potential of making you very, very financially independent.
Registering a domain in itself isn't going to make you a penny, and even if you get a referral, that's all the money you will ever see if that's all you ever do with your dns or Web Site.
You have the opportunity to radically change the way you live your life, forever.
It is up to you to decide which path to take.
To take a line from one of my favorite films, Take the red pill or the blue pill, but whatever you decide, its up to you. See how far the rabbit hole goes or go back to the mess you have waiting for you after reading this blog.
For those of you travailing through this mess, you are not alone. We have found a way out, its not just making ends meet, but to get a stable footing and start traveling on the road out of financial poverty and obscurity and into financial wellness and prosperity.
Please, do yourself a favor, check out the site. If its not for you, then at least you can say you checked it out. Nothing ventured nothing gained?
I pray that you see this for what it is and see it as a genuine opportunity to make positive steps towards true financial independence.

Why home based business?
We see in today's economic down turn that having security in the work place is no longer a guarantee. You can work 15-20 years in a job and be laid off tomorrow without the hope of another penny earned. Social Security is bankrupt and our 401k's are losing money by the day.
Many have toyed with the idea of starting a home based business, but the problem has always started with two things, money and where to start. Without capital it is almost impossible to start any business from home. Even if you do have the financial resources to go into business for yourself, the other more difficult obstacle is know where and when to start.
With the Internet loaded with millions of scams, its hard to see what is the genuine article among all of the counterfeits.
If you come across a work from home opportunity promising hundreds if not thousands of dollars within the first week, run away. With so many options to choose, it becomes unclear which opportunity is right for you. Get plugged in with a right team with the right motives.
A successful work from home opportunity that is based on the mlm structure isn't bad or wrong, its how you go about building your business. If the opportunity is right and upfront costs are minimal to start, try it out. Be very wary of having to pour more money into it to get it going, buying leads, marketing advertisements, supplies and what not. I know that saying, you get what you put into it, however money isn't the only thing you should be investing into a business. Time is a precious commodity, it is so very valuable; if you are willing to sacrifice a little bit of your time now, (for some I realize that this seems like an impossible feat but think of the rewards of the sacrifices you make now.) build it for all you are worth, pay the price now so you can enjoy the fruits of you labor later.
It's worth it. To be able to work on your time, take vacation when ever you want, no one to call and tell them that you cant make it into the office. Have the finances to pay your bills and not worry about where your next check is coming from. I'm talking about security. That is something a job can not give you over the long term. Not any more. We as a people have gotten too dependent on the generosity of others, and its time we pick ourselves up by our own boot straps and truly make something of ourselves.
Isn't it worth it to you? To your family? think about it!
If not my business, then please try something, start something, do something. Its the best thing you can ever do for yourself and for your loved ones.

Sowing to our success
Welcome to the first of I hope many blogs to come
The purpose of this blog is to inspire, to motivate and get you thinking on influential, insightful and thoughtful ways of creating daily success. These are just some tools that will help you grow and be the person you were always meant to become.
First, the reason for the title.
You've heard the term used, you reap what you sow? Like someone who plants a seed into the soil, we want to plant good seed into your life in order to reap a bountiful harvest.
If you plant an apple seed, will it produce an orange or grapefruit? Of course not, it will produce in time an apple tree.
Growing a beautiful apple tree takes time, its takes the right soil, and provided the very best conditions for growth. The budding tree needs to be cultivated and watered daily. If you want big delicious fruit, you are going to do whatever is necessary to ensure this tree grows healthy and strong.
Just like that tree, our minds need to be nourished and cultivated. Many of us over time let our minds become crowded with the weeds, thistles and thorns of life. Like a gardener, we need to tend to the garden of our minds by pulling the weeds that threaten to choke the budding plants, and get rid of the insects threatening destroy the plants from ever growing to its full potential.
Some steps may be hard of even painful to undertake, however if you are willing to seek greater success, if you are willing to pay the sacrifices now, your later years will see the fruit of your exhaustive labor of love.
Let us labor to our mutual success
